"The Distant Waypoints" Painting Sketch

"Stone relics usually lead to novel history and finds that only pique the interest of specialists, but our hooded traveller instead comes across two pillars with an illusive light beaming into the distance. Is it just a neat light trick? ...or Is it a waypoint to something much more valuable? Regardless, our traveller should enjoy the peaceful plains while they can."

This is Sunday's morning practice, continuing with painting. I got it finished in around 2ish hours, with the desire to make a more vibrant piece to counter the moody environment from last week.
